Welcome to the world of hassle free traveling!
Since January, our only product has been Tripomatic. Since it was sometimes confusing to our partners and users, we have decided to change the legal name to match the product name.
As of July 1st 2014, “two bits s.r.o.” is officially renamed to “Tripomatic s.r.o.”. We’re still the same company with the same people, all legal obligations remain untouched.
We are a startup based in Brno, willing to change the way people travel. Our goal is to help those traveling on their own organize their trips.
We’re looking for a new colleague to join our development team.
manage servers in AWS cloud
work on our API backend written in PHP (Nette)
If you’re up for:
joining a team focused on quality, rather than on the amount of code produced
working in an environment that welcomes your ideas and suggestions
tinkering with the latest technology
… in short: be there where dreams are becoming reality?
Then you’re our man/woman.
enjoy solving complicated problems
be proactive and cooperate on turning our ideas into reality
have a decent knowledge of English (our products target mainly US and UK markets)
What can we offer:
flexible working hours
informal work environment
free drinks & catering allowance
free language courses
allowance for courses and conferences (even abroad)
office location near city center, easily reachable by car or public transport
Sounds great? Then send us your CV, sample of code you have worked on and links to projects you have participated in to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be in touch.
Tripomatic has come a long way since it started as a “pet project” almost three years ago. We’ve improved our coverage from a dozen cities in Europe to pretty much every major destination worldwide. We’ve introduced mobile apps on three platforms and we helped over a million users plan their trip. But we’re far from finished.
Today, we have the pleasure to introduce Tripomatic 2.0. We’ve reimagined and redesigned the perfect web trip planner and built it from scratch. We took advantage of modern web technologies and built one of the most sophisticated web apps you’ll find on the internet today.
We’ve spent countless hours, and probably a ton of pencils, fine tuning the user interface, so it’s powerful yet minimal. We’ve been optimizing over and over so it’s fast, and finally we unleashed the inner child to make it interactive and playful.
Tripomatic 2.0 is different. Some features are new and some old ones are gone. Tripomatic 2.0 is a foundation that unifies the underlying technology and visual style across all platforms and on which we can continue building. And we will!
The old trip planner will remain accessible for a few weeks from now. All trips will be available in both interfaces and should be 100% compatible.
You may have also noticed a new logo, which you’ll also find on Tripomatic app icon on your mobile phone as soon as you update Tripomatic app. Updates on all mobile platforms are rolling out today.
We hope you will like the new interface as much as anyone on the team does. We make Tripomatic for you and your opinion is the most important thing in the world for us. Please feel free to share your feedback with us at email@example.com.
Gone are the days of using a stretched out iPhone app on your iPad. We’ve adapted the whole iOS app to play along with the larger screen of your device.
Got an iPad? Head straight to the App Store and grab the app. It’s free, as always.
And we haven’t stopped there. Here are some of the new features that we know you’ll love:
- Brand new walking maps, custom designed for Tripomatic.
- Subway lines in maps (We’re adding them gradually in the most popular cities.)
- Book hotels and tours straight from the app.
- Daily templates to get your trip planning started quickly and easily.
- Speed. Everything moves faster than ever.
Of course, you can still take advantage of Tripomatic’s offline maps or sync across all your devices. Download the app for free from the App Store.
As always, we appreciate your feedback. Let us know what you think at firstname.lastname@example.org.
